For the first day of your diving, we have picked probably the least dived locations in Padangbai where you normally wouldn’t get that easily. These are good for getting into diving and offer very interesting places to see. Even if you have dived in Padangbai before, we will show you the underwater life from a new and unusual perspective.

The first dive site of the day will be the White sand beach corner. We will start at its parts with black volcanic sand and slowly move to the spots with the white one. This dive site is known for posible strong current, which however brings here an amazing variety of underwater life. If you are lucky you can say hi to colorful nudibranchs, pygmy seahorse, lobsters, sharks and an eagle ray.

For the second dive in Padangbai Bali, we will take you to the dive site Channel, only 2 minutes away  from our resort. Due to the regular ferry traffic, it is possible to dive here only at specific times. In fact, it is probably the least dived dive site around. We start at a plateau in the depth of 18 meters with many small beautiful cavities. On the left side, you can see man-made channel used by ferries heading to Lombok which became wonderfully covered by corals over time.

From there we will continue towards the Shark point to see both macro and bigger animals. Depending on the current direction, we might also take the route the other way around.

The second day will have a lot of fun at one of our favorite Bali dive sitesGili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong. Currents at the rocky Mimpang bring a lot of life as well as keep the corals exceptionally healthy. Thanks to them the visibility can reach up to 25 meters. We will start our journey at a plateau with gorgonians and sponges. From there we move on to the reef which slowly turns into a beautiful coral slope. Next, we will swim to a steep wall going down to 70 meters. You will experience the power of waves also in the depth of 25 meters.

Strong current is also a thing that defines the Gili Tepekong. Sometimes it can make it quite challenging, yet it brings here the enormous variety of underwater life. We will start on the east side and explore the majestic wall going down to 60 meters. It offers beautiful topography with many lovely cavities and a swim-through at 25 meters. We will stick to the slope and possibly meeting some white tip-sharks along the way.

Depending on the water conditions, our skilled instructors will take you to the well-known Canyon at the south-west of Tepekong. Here you can sometimes feel the spiral down current often referred to as The Toliet. Many divers dream of seeing the Canyon because of its beautiful topography resembling a roman amphitheater, a large school of groupers, sweetlips or jack and even many pelagics.

For the last day of diving, we have picked the real cherry-top for you – the beautiful Gili Biaha with a dark cave, lava rocks, and changing currents. We begin the dive at the drop off and move towards the wall covered with beautiful pillars, terraces, and healthy corals. Some Moorish idols or bannerfish will probably pass by as we will closely swim next to it.

Our next stop will be a wonderful slope located in the north of the island. What makes Biaha unique are smaller species such as cuttlefish, octopus, nudibranchs, rich soft corals, gorgonians, commensal shrimps, crabs and Meyers butterflyfish.

One of the highlights that this island has to offer is the dark Cave at 12 meters. We will take our torches and explore it from the inside. Chances are that we will see some lobsters or even whitetip sharks. From our experience, diving in a dark cave will leave you with some really intense feelings. Interesting phenomenon here is the pressure change happening as soon as the wave comes. As you will swim outside, you will see a beautiful view of the blue ocean bustling with colorful schools of fish.

The diving program here depends solely on water conditions and based on these, we will choose the dive sites either at Gili Mimpang, Gili Tepekong or Gili Biaha.
